Preppers Rejoice!

Before Steve left Wilderness Voyagers, the back-packing shop he worked at for ten years, he was able to aquire over forty dehydrated meals below cost.  These light-weight meals cost $8-10 US today – so this was quite a stash.

I was somewhat skeptical of the quality of fifteen-year old food, but they do taste fine!

These meals don't have expiration dates, so we tried to judge their age by the fashions on the labels.

  1. How come the woman’s shorts are longer than the guy’s (if you can even call them shorts)?

  2. Well, we were tempted to throw out our disaster emergency food rations(11 ten pound cans in the cellar, dusted off one a year), but now may hold on to them another ten years. M & K
