It’s the end of the world as we know it…and I Feel Fine!

2,189.2 miles (+ at least 10 extra to find campsites, water & provisions)…walking. Pedestrian-like…

Every Appalachian Trail Thru-Hiker has at least a bit of insanity in their brain…

Thanks for being a part of our adventure by following our footsteps in this blog…love ya all!

We think this was a female Indigo Bunting or a female Blue Grosbeak...not sure. It was cool though...hung out in the shelter with us trying to find hiker leavings. ;-)

  1. Congratulations! You inspired me to take a hiking trip through boring old Yellow Forest back here in Iowa. We didn’t log nearly as many miles, but it was a lot of fun. I can’t imagine what 200 times that experience would be like! Congrats again!

  2. Well, I certainly expected all along to see you finish, and finish you did. Thanks for sharing just a few days of your adventure with me. This 74 year old man couldn’t keep up with you, but it was fun trying to hang with you for at least a short time. What an awesome hike you have had. And keep in touch as you figure out the next phase of your journey. I like the beard!
